Mila lives with her parents and attends preschool. Her life is peaceful, made of days that flow at a reassuring pace and weekly appointments: school every morning, then Wednesdays at the museum with her grandma, Thursdays at the pool with her mom, Fridays at the little park with her dad to meet friends, Saturdays on a trip with mom and dad, and Sundays: at her grandparents’ house! Days with her grandparents are always packed: they do gardening, experiment together in the kitchen, and prepare tasty snacks.

Today, however, when one of the grandparents goes grocery shopping and the other decides to take a nap, Mila doesn’t feel like sleeping at all. She wants to give them both a gift and decides to tidy up the house. And what a cleanup! She waters the plants, fixes the curtains, secures a shelf, paints a bit here and there, repairs a scooter, and finally makes a beautiful drawing for her grandparents... but where? Right on the kitchen wall, so it’s easier to see!

When Grandpa wakes up, the house is a mess! Both are frozen by what they see, but a good snack prepared together can overcome the shock, with many thanks for all that tireless work.

A day like many others spent with family; the grandparents are two men who live together, work, cook, play with the little girl, and share a great love for their granddaughter Mila, just like all good grandparents know how to do.
